Classes

 

Sarah encourages you to enquire into your innate inner peace and explore it through sensing your physical being and allowing yourself to fall into relaxation.

 

Classes are devised to enable everyone who attends to work with the body, its strengths and constraints. There is no criteria for attendance just a willingness to explore the body and movement with an open mind and a desire to build resilience.

 

Every class will offer the opportunity to set aside day to day trials and tribulations and to sit in an environment of peace where you can meet the tranquillity that sits inside all of us.

 

You are asked to alert the teacher to any concerns, injuries both acute and long-standing, and what actions you find helpful or those that cause discomfort or pain. You are the expert on your body and Sarah will work with you to ensure that the class meets your needs. You will be encouraged to move with relaxed effort, feeling the sensations in your body and responding to those messages with kindness and compassion.

 

Each term the class will follow a theme to explore movement in the body and mind to bring peace into your life.

 

Sarah is an iRest Yoga Nidra Teacher in Training, Level 1 , her classes are informed by the teachings of Richard Miller and The Integrative Restoration Institute.

 

 

Autumn 2018 Classes

 

Wednesday Evening Hatha Yoga Class: 10 week yoga course in movement, breath and mediation. This term we will join together to explore movement and breath that embraces the change of the season, abundance in nature and length of the day.

 

Term Dates:

September 5th, 12th and 26th*,

October 3rd*, 24th and 31st*,

November 7th*, 14th*, 21st* and 28th

 

Class Times:  7.00pm – 8.30pm, suitable for beginners

Friday Morning: 10 week yoga course in movement, breath and mediation. This term we will join together to explore movement and breath that embraces the change of the season, abundance in nature and length of the day.

Classes marked with a *

Each of the classes marked with an asterix* will include a longer yoga nidra practice which will contribute to a deeper understanding of this meditation.

 

I will be offering a supportive workbook which will be compiled across the term. In addition an emailed recording of each session will be sent to those who wish to take up this offer. This will incur an additional fee of £25.00 for the six sessions.

 

 

 

Workshops & Retreats

Held across the year, usually on a Saturday, with the intention to explore in greater depth movement, breath and relaxation.  No experience in movement, yoga or breath work is required and all participants come together to share their knowledge and wisdom.  Each workshop will build around a theme and enable you to deepen your understanding of your body and mind.

 

Bespoke workshops are available to small groups who wish to explore particular aspects of movement, clarity of mind or relaxation and incorporating the learning into daily life.

 

Treat Yourself to a One-day Retreat

 

On Saturday 3rd November 2018 10.00am - 4.00pm Peaceful Yoga is offering a one-day retreat focussing on the integration of the breath to movement and meditation. It is being held in the beautiful setting of the Lodge, College Farm, Long Crendon.

 

This retreat comes in the glory of autumn and is designed to still and settle into that most restful sense of transition through the seasons.  Each element of the day is to nurture, rest and restore the innate well-being that is within.

 

The day includes all refreshments and a light lunch. The fee for the day is £65.00 inclusive.

One to One

 

Sarah offers one-to-one personal yoga and meditation or co-meditation sessions at your home.

These sessions offer the opportunity to explore in  depth your personal experience of the mind, movement and inner calm.
